Four 'Lost' Unique Vintage Graffiti Posters are revealed at http://thegraffiticollection.com/posterblog last Friday November 14th.
The Limited Edition Posters by Crash, Quik, NOC167 and Bill Blast were printed in 1988 under contracts with the graffiti artists.
The original masterworks are part of a famous big Dutch New York Graffiti Collection and have been part of some of the big graffiti museum shows during the eighties and nineties (like Museum Boymans van Beuningen The Netherlands, Museum Louisiana Denmark, Museum Ludwig Germany, Groninger Museum The Netherlands, etc.).
As such they mark a significant moment in the development of the artists and of the graffiti movement as a whole, as in the eighties the graffiti writers started to evolve their work from the subway into the artworld.
The involved collector has documented this period and the development of the artists and their individual styles in these four posters that give a highly detailed representation of the original artworks.
The posters will be launched officially soon and collectors can pre-registrate on a Priority Notification List on http://www.thegraffiticollection.com/hoga-priority.html .
